Develop and present strategies that assist Addison Whitney clients in solving brand-related challenges, including the creation of materials, managing production of materials, and certain oversight aspects of the project process including cross-functional team management from proposal phase to final recommendations. Projects include the following at the corporate, divisional and product levels: brand equity assessments, brand positioning and messaging, brand portfolio strategy including brand architecture strategy, nomenclature strategy and product naming strategy, and brand implementation planning. Conduct project scoping calls to understand client challenges and needs. Work with account leads to determine the appropriate project steps and pricing for potential clients. Manage the flow of work of multiple projects to ensure internal and external deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality. Team Development. Provide training to brand strategy and cross-functional team members on principles of brand strategy, best practices, and ongoing understanding of the value of strategy in decision making. External Responsibilities. Client Interaction. Build client relationships that facilitate trust and additional opportunities for Addison Whitney. Develop brand strategy workshops and lead workshop activities in conjunction with account leads. Develop brand strategy options for clients reflective of clients' business strategy. Develop client-facing presentations outlining strategy options, recommendations and analysis. Conduct analysis of potential brand strategy options to identify the most viable option(s). Help account leads present and defend findings and recommended strategies. Take part in ongoing review calls with the client's project team. Develop presentations to aid clients in securing executive buy-in for recommended strategies. Develop brand launch plans. Develop final client products/deliverables, including brand education, guidelines for positioning, messaging and portfolio strategy, brand decision trees, brand strategy implementation and product naming guidelines. Present to potential new clients with the goal of establishing rapport, demonstrating expertise, and influencing the awarding of new business. Research Focused. Assist in the development of brand equity assessment research and questionnaires. Analyze and interpret primary market research data to identify potential brand strategy opportunities for clients. Create internal and external interview questionnaires and conduct executive, employee and customer interviews. Conduct internal and external brand audits and present findings. Review and analyze existing research and present findings. Qualification Requirements. Bachelor's degree required. 15+ years marketing or branding experience, at least 5 of which should be in a senior management capacity. Creative, analytic and strategic thinking. Proactive, curious thinker. Not satisfied with the status quo. Produces top-quality work under pressure. Ability to interpret and analyze market research data to make clear strategy recommendations.
