* Maintains/updates training manuals, promoting standardized, quality care


* Orients all clinical staff, including providers, to the electronic health record and the required documentation


* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational needs of staff within practices


* Plans and develops initiatives to meet quality reporting measures


* Demonstrates professional leadership in nursing practice and serves as a role model to staff members providing clinical care, including RNs, LPNs, and CMAs


* Conducts and/or coordinates access to educational programs for all clinical staff as needed


* Evaluates and assesses clinical competencies for all clinical staff; provides instruction to staff for competency development


* In conjunction with supervising clinician and practice manager, evaluates performance of clinical staff


* Demonstrates proficiency in computerized clinical informatics and EHR systems


* Travels to multiple practices for follow up with newly oriented staff when required and directed


* Attends and participates in practice clinical staff meetings as requested by the practice manager; presents standardized materials to clinical staff and/or managers as necessary


* Functions as a staff nurse when training and/or other initiatives are not in progress, or when directed


* Engages in other projects and functions upon request

* ZR
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
* Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, RN preferred
* Basic Life Support Certification for Health Care Providers
* Experience and proficiency with current office technology and proficient with computer office applications (including: Electronic Medical/Health Records, MS Office, etc.Three to five years recent nursing experience in the outpatient setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Demonstrated leadership skills
