The Training Specialist is responsible for providing initial and optimization end user training to a diversified audience of both clinical and non-clinical staff to support the implementation of Care New England Applications.

Associates degree or completion of a certificate program with a focus in EMR or clinical systems, education, or instructional design. Clinical background and/or knowledge of clinical terminology a plus. Experience in a formal classroom setting with excellent classroom facilitation/speaking skills and strong understanding of training methodology preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills required to work effectively with all levels across the organization. Must be able to work autonomously, and part of a group. Must have the ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the organization. Solid computer skills required. Must become Proficient in Epic application within one year of hire. This position requires completion of the credentialing process, which includes an intense six-week training program on the applications(s) supported, competency checking, teach-backs and teaching the application before a review panel prior to training end users.
