The Director will be responsible for all aspects of the project from client interaction/education, developing insights and developing strategies. Specific Responsibilities The Director of Consumer Insights will: Lead the MarketMatch process (including client education, conducting focus groups, stakeholder interviews, developing questionnaires, managing vendors, presenting results). MarketMatch creates a 3-5 year dining blueprint that focuses on: Innovative dining transformation Distinctive dining environments and experiences Driving campus satisfaction and increased campus engagement, patronage, and financial return Reporting Relationships This position will report directly to the Vice President of Consumer Insights. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience and skills: A minimum of 10 years in market research, analysis, or field experience. Experience working within cross-function teams in a matrix organization preferred Strong written and presentation skills. Experience working with executive leadership and clients. Understanding consumer research insights plan development, questionnaire writing, report development, analyses and has the ability to present data in a story-telling fashion Strategic thought leadership that drives outcomes by understanding the \"bigger picture\" but also has the ability to conduct the research themselves Ability to influence with impact Ability to gain consensus to drive efforts forward effectively and efficiently Strong business judgement, ability to prioritize and act decisively Comfortable working under tight deadlines Excellent organizational and project management skills Collaboration / teamwork skills Strong computer skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel with an attention to detail.
