Job Summary : GLOBALFOUNDRIES is looking for a strong leader to join our Human Resources Team. This HR Director position reports directly to the Sr. Director, HRBP in charge of Burlington and East Fishkill operations. This role will provide overall human resources leadership and expertise in support of our st semi-conductor fab in Burlington, VT. This role will partner with our VP & General Manager of Fab and an executive leadership team and will be responsible for all facets of HR in support of a 2,500 person organization. In addition, this position has overall responsibility for coordinating critical site activities, community, education and external outreach representing GF, strong collaboration with the communications team on important site messaging. The Fab 9 HR Director will lead a team of 5-7 experienced HR Business Partners and will collaborate across all HR COEs to drive business, employee and manager needs often responsible for driving large project planning, resource planning, and employee engagement initiatives. The HR leader ensures compliance with state and federal government employment laws.. Essential Responsbilities. * Direct leadership of 5-7 HR Staff. * Lead client organization in the development of annual reviews, organization structure/development, job design, compensation and organizational change. * Partner with Business leaders on multiple human resources areas, including policies, practices, evaluation and development of personnel, annual reviews, compensation planning, process improvements & leading change initiatives. * Provide leadership in the development and execution of Company and organization vision and structure, including development and execution of plans for client organizations. * Be a partner and advocate for external workforce development and build relationships with regional leaders in the community. * Work with leaders and HR to continuously improve employee engagement and satisfaction levels. Act and be a steward of GF values, driving for a highly inclusive and respected work environment.. * Provide advice and counsel to management and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices. * Provide HR leadership & coaching to employees and managers regarding employee relations issues. * Assist in the development and implementation of a variety of HR programs and processes and other cultural development and change initiatives.. * Learn and maintain detailed operating knowledge of all HR systems, tools and processes for GLOBALFOUNDRIES. * Create reporting & documentation for Business leaders and HR as needed/requested. Analyze data to identify trends and meaningful statistics to resolve issues and identified concerns. * Responsible for the executive sponsorship of all employee events on site, leveraging a team in the execution of these activities.. * Train and/or actively educate managers & employees on HR processes, systems, or other HR topics. * Display a high degree of professionalism, poise and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive employee issues. * Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner. Required Qualifications. * B.S. Degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering or related field. * Minimum 12 years of Human Resources Business Partner/ Generalist experience. * Minimum 5 years in Leadership/Management role within Human Resources. * Minimum 7 years experience in high tech or industrial/manufacturing business. Preferred Qualifications. * Experiencing managing company wide or site-wide large Human Resources projects. * Global HR experience. * Experience in the semi-conductor industry. * Strong communication skills- both written and verbal. * Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels within an organization; ability to manage incoming requests quickly and professional in a fast paced environment. * Outstanding organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet Business needs. * Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines & commitments. * Strong analytical and system skills. * Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite & Google Applications. * Prior experience in TALEO Applicant Tracking System & PeopleSoft ERP. * Able to analyze & understand complex problems & propose possible solutions. * Lean or 6 Sigma Certification. * Knowledge of EEO, OFCCP, ADA, and employment/immigration laws and practices.
