Lead channel strategy and planning process across various client verticals. Develop and present findings from proprietary tool research to clients and Brand Team. Collaborate with Associate Brand Group Directors on client deliverables and business needs. Partner with Brand teams to present at Client strategy and insight meetings. Support WHERE leadership team in establishing channel planning best practices all Brand teams. Assist in the enhancement and evolution of HMI's planning Toolkit. Train direct reports on HMI tool suite, as needed. Lead evaluation of media vendors, research providers and methodologies on behalf of Horizon. Help to onboard new clients and partners by presenting WHERE capabilities, tool suite, etc.. Present WHERE capabilities internally as needed (Interns, Media 101, etc.). Contribute to new business preparation materials and/or representation in pitch meetings. Expectations. Be knowledgeable of and able to discuss the general media landscape with Brand teams and clients. Strong knowledge of industry resources including points of differentiation and applicability to client businesses. Ability to give, receive, and incorporate feedback. Effectively mentor team and manage development and workload by actively managing up and down. Develop relationships with key Brand team counterparts, across all verticals. Demonstrate strong project management skills, including coaching direct reports to develop timelines, involve necessary partners, and provide effective deliverables. Elicit trust from senior leadership in your ability to represent the WHERE discipline internally and externally. Display sound judgement and business maturity in worth ethic, management style, and commitment to WHERE team/HMI. Demonstrate the Horizon culture quotient, aligned with company key values. Required Skills & Experience. Excellent understanding of media and channel planning practices and concepts. Experience at a media planning agency, in either a research or planning function. Experience in a leadership position with 1 or more direct reports. Comfort with research, data, analytics and developing custom solutions to solve business needs. Ability to re-prioritize projects while managing relationships internally and with clients. Experience conducting primary research. Strong communication and presentation skills. Insightful approach to analysis and implications. Excellent creative thinking. Detail oriented and organization.
