DRS Naval Power Systems (NPS)provides engineering and manufacturing services for Naval and commercial machinery systems. This includes the design and fabrication of advanced electric machinery including high performance torque/power dense permanent magnet motors, generators and associated power electronics, large rotating machinery, industrial turbine technology, packaged power and propulsion systems, mechanical equipment modeling and naval machinery inspection.

DRS NPS has an immediate need for a Quality Manager responsible for developing and maintaining a DRS Fitchburg ISO compliant program, to assure that all products manufactured meet customer and company specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels. Business systems will mirror and comply with the Corporation's objectives, external regulations and guidelines as well as customer contracts, specifications and general quality requirements. This position is charged with ensuring all the Quality Assurance Systems are fully implemented and monitored and the Quality Control Procedure and Practice are standardized and followed. This role is responsible for the ongoing analytical assessment of all materials and certification of their performance to customers.
