EN-US\">Reporting to the Senior Vice President the Director is responsible for
leading the system-wide cardiovascular physician practice and cardiovascular
service line (CVSL). They will be
responsible for driving CVSL strategy and leading the collaborative
development and implementation of the operating plans within the Lifespan
Cardiovascular Institute (CVI). Responsible and accountable for managing the
cost quality and service within the CVI.
Develops annual and ongoing operational capital and programmatic
business plans consistent with the organization's mission and vision. Provides
an atmosphere conducive to team development and professional growth for associates
within the Lifespan Cardiovascular Institute (CVI). Demonstrates and promotes
Lifespan?s values service excellence behaviors and continuous
improvement. The directors of three

in collaboration with the Chief of Cardiology/Physician Executive; Chief of
Cardiac Surgery; and Senior Vice President to develop goals for the Service
in coordination with the individual Hospital leaders and the Physician leaders
of cardiology and cardiac surgery to insure the goals of the CVSL are in
alignment of the hospitals and Lifespan.

budget and monitors budget variances and implements corrective action when

Masters? Degree in Business
or Healthcare Administration equivalent experience will be considered.
Requires a minimum of 7 years or more of
progressive experience in managing cardiovascular services and service line
administration preferably in a multi-hospital setting with medical practice
responsibility. Clinical experience and / or experience in clinical research are
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

equipment. Ability to lift boxes of
paper files and/or medical records.
Any hazards are minimized by adherence to established safety procedures

of 300 FTEs directly or indirectly.
