Job Description

Perform all functions of sales support for contractor-based Interior Millwork Field Salesperson, including the preparation of quotes, invoices, special orders, and purchase orders.

Responsible for coordinating deliveries and shipping when necessary.
Must maintain an understanding of current trends and building standards within our industry. Work closely with other departments, outside vendors, and account holders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service provide complete customer experience to each customer regardless of project; prioritize Customer Service above administrative tasks coordinate on-site visits and appointments for assigned Salesperson; meet with customer when needed qualify customers to determine the complexity and timeliness of their project; encourage interest in other service areas of the company and pass on leads to other departments answer incoming customer calls; respond to customer requests and questions guide customers through features of product and related items follow-up on all leads and existing quotes in a timely and professional manner responsible for the immediate handling of customer concerns with assigned Salesperson support loss prevention efforts through customer engagement and proper procedures Sales Process responsible for the entire sales process from prospect through delivery and follow-up utilize all available informational and point-of-sale software systems confirm all vendor purchases are accurate and fulfilled completion of all paperwork accurately and timely support and integrate marketing and sales activities into your process - i.e. promotions, product launches, relationship-building events Maintain Department keep desk and adjacent sales area clean and organized; area must be customer-friendly and uncluttered maintain product catalogs and manuals; update online and electronic forms, catalogs, and pricing for self and assigned Salesperson Continuing Education participate in regular vendor communication to ensure awareness of new products, pricing and application requirements maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends & government regulations attend trainings and self-learning opportunities to keep up-to-date on products in assigned area All other duties as assigned by Management Perform all functions of sales support for contractor-based Interior Millwork Field Salesperson, including the preparation of quotes, invoices, special orders, and purchase orders.
