Serves as the strategic business partner to site leadership, contributing to HR strategy development, leading site HR operations and implementation of organizational initiatives designed to support achievement of business strategy. Represents client needs in development of Ensemble-wide people strategy, objectives, systems and tools. Leads the development of a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance to Ensemble objectives.. Strategic Alignment and Goal Achievement. Partner with clients to understand and assess business direction based on current strategic plans. Proactively analyze and interpret data insights. Informed by appropriate metrics, assist in the creation of HR and workforce strategy and specific action plans to support people and business strategies (e.g., employee engagement, retention, productivity, patient experience, growth initiatives, mergers/acquisitions, insourcing/outsourcing). Implement annual HR programs to achieve business goals (inlucding but not limited to talent/workforce, learning, well-being, salary, engagement , and succession planning). Support the achievement of site and/or market objectives using HR systems, tools and strategies, ensuring that client needs are addressed.. Strategic Workforce Planning and Management. Manage and lead implementation of Ensemble Health Partners Human Resources programs and initiatives in client areas including, but not limited to training, providing guidance with goal setting, evaluation, and merit administration. Identify resources to assist clients in meeting strategic workforce planning goals related to recruitment, retention, development, succession, and talent and performance management. Engage leadership teams to ensure operation plans and practices align with strategic plan and departmental workforce goals. Recruit, onboard and manage performance of direct reports. Effectively develop and deploy direct reports into the Ensemble to ensure that workforce and talent management strategies are aligned with business and operational strategies.. Organizational Development. Serve as change champion for assigned clients. Collaborate with managers and other HR professionals (Learning, Analytics, etc.) to improve and sustain leadership performance. Conduct team development sessions to improve effectiveness of team outcomes. Support onboarding of staff and leadership, and provide leadership coaching when applicable. Assist clients in the development of project plans, communication plans and action plans to address quality/safety, patient experience, engagement, as well as consolidation, outsourcing, insourcing and acquisition activities.. Client Communication and Support. Implements communication plan to ensure effective client communication and feedback. Provide monthly HR updates. Communicate HR initiatives and expectations (including opportunities to pilot new systems or processes). Communicate upward feedback to provide clients with candid advice and coaching regarding development opportunities. Actively participate in leadership meetings to advance Ensemble objectives. Rounds on employees and managers to support the communication and feedback process.. Positive Work Environment. Partner with management and leads Human Resources staff in creating, promoting and maintaining positive employee relations and a culture of inclusion. Ensure that policies, practices and procedures foster a safe and secure work environment and the equitable resolution of workplace issues. Proactively identify, manage and facilitate the equitable resolution of job-related complaints and concerns. Prepare/present position statements and evidence on behalf of the Ensemble in claims related to unemployment, discrimination and other employment-related actions filed with federal/state/local agencies.. Requirements:. Required Certifications:. HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) or equivalent experience.. Preferred Certifications:. CCP Certification. Minimum Years and Type of Experience:. Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible and complex professional experience in Human Resources function, including a minimum of three years of management experience..
