Incumbent will be responsible for execution of core supplier quality processes at the global supplier quality organization. Position will require interaction with worldwide businesses and hold primary communication responsibilities for specific aspects of processes. Broad range of exposure to all supplier quality processes, tools, and skills required to drive achievement of core objectives. Incumbent will use data analysis tools to understand and communicate performance and provide input into execution priorities. Primary Responsibilities: Utilizing process improvement tools to drive process and product quality at suppliers and within the Business Units Develop and maintain metrics related to central supplier quality processes and training Support supplier executive reviews at the Business Units Improve central supplier quality processes Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Working knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, Gage R&R, SPC Analysis, Cpk, etc. or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing project tasks and details via Projects and/or excel Ability to influence an organization and provide long term strategic solutions Ability to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment resolving supplier quality issues Working knowledge of SAP Experience in Quality, Lean, Six Sigma, or Operations Education: This position requires a Bachelor s degree in Engineering or similar discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required. Nothing matters more to Collins Aerospace than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
