Job Description:?

Private residence seeks?an experienced?Chef?/?House Manager.?Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Complete oversight of residence staff; ensuring consistency of standards, procedures and services?
  • Maintaining household calendar; scheduling household services and providing prior notification to principals?
  • Overseeing training and supervision of?residence?staff
  • Approving invoices, household spending, timecards and PTO request for residence staff
  • Serving as backup for residence staff if needed
  • Creating?fresh and seasonal meals?including lunches, dinners,?snacks, special events and large parties?as needed
  • Procuring?all kitchen supplies including?groceries and any other item as needed; maintain detailed inventory lists
  • Maintaining sanitary?cleanliness?and organization?of the kitchens and refrigerator
  • Travel with the Principal as needed
  • Serving?and?cleaning?up after meals
  • Responding?to special requests, errands, and related duties

This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be flexible to travel with the principal. Salary is generous but DOE.?


  • Candidates must have at least 5 years?of?experience?working as a Chef or related field
  • Excellent references from both current and previous employers
  • A superb command of the English language, both written and oral?
  • Must enjoy working around children and pets
  • Utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion?
  • Professional, polished and poised?at all times
  • Strong management skills; adept in managing and supervising household staff?
  • Ability to work independently?and as part of a team, ?hands on? as necessary
  • Tech savvy with a demonstrated understanding?of??smart home? systems
  • Positive?attitude, high energy, strong work ethic?and an attention to detail
  • Exceptional?analytical,?organizational and time-management skills
  • Open?schedule?with availability to work overtime and weekends?if?needed
  • Flexible?to travel with principal
  • Valid driver?s license
  • Valid passport
