POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Data Warehouse Architect is responsible for the successful delivery of business intelligence information to the entire organization and is experienced in BI report development and implementations, database design, data architecture and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to cloud computing data warehousing tools and other large scale data constructs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Responsibilities: Translate business requirements into an appropriate data model, develop ETLs, and validate results with business representatives. Support implemented BI solutions by: monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues. Oversee the Creation, maintenance and execution of detailed test cases and plans for all developed work product. Author and maintain detailed technical design and specification documentation. Provide input to refine business and functional requirements. Collaborate with both technical and non-technical professionals to develop standards and implement best practices across the team and be able to work in an agile environment Assist with hybrid cloud deployment and contribute to best practices across the team QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills: Minimum of a Bachelor s degree. 3 or more years of experience with Oracle V12. 3 or more years of ETL development experience. 3 or more years of experience with creating star schema data models. 3 or more years of experience in a complex data warehouse environment. 3 or more years of experience in relational and multi-dimensional data modeling, and the use of data modeling tools. Desired Skills: Experience with Datastage or SSIS Performing ETLs and validating results with business representatives Ability to collaborate on a team with infrastructure, BI report development and business analyst resources, and clearly communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical team members Solid report development experience including Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Previous experience with Tableau data loads, dashboard development and visualization techniques. Previous experience with Amazon Web Services cloud computing tools and data warehousing services. Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Must be detail oriented and extremely organized and have the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Knowledge of Real Estate Investment Management and / or fund accounting concepts, practices and procedures a plus.
