U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Software Tester with proven quality assurance and project analysis experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Responsible for leading development of test scenarios for unit, process, function, integration and acceptance testing. Assists in the distribution of all Quality Assurance practices, standards, methodologies and metrics. Performs test executions and writes test scripts for complex integrated systems. Performs regression testing on new software releases and reports findings. Provides technical support and guidance, software installation, problem solving and troubleshooting. Offers input to development on findings reports. Provides technical support and assistance to sales and marketing. Participates in the development and implementation of structured testing concepts, methodologies, and automated testing and support tools. Provides status reporting to QA and management. Involves senior management to resolve deficiencies or compliance issues in a timely manner as needed. Tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Assists with definition and management of software test environments and aids in major audits/reviews of programs and processes. Creates test plan scenarios for process, function, integration, and acceptance testing on complex Enterprise and integrated projects. Ensures requirements traceability. Distributes Quality Assurance practices and standards.
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 4 years experience with designing, planning and execution of system testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality at all stages of the system life cycle.
-At least 4 years experience with leading, building and managing effective teams.
Creates detailed test plans and cases/scripts for Enterprise and complex projects. Creates schedules, project estimates, and status reports. Performs software testing, identifies defects, and coordinates resolution and retesting.
Creates regression test plans and executes regression testing on new software releases and reports discrepancies.
Creates Findings Report and Test Sign-off document. Provides technical support and guidance during software installation, problem solving, and troubleshooting. Provides technical support and assistance to Business Line during BL Acceptance testing.
Leads others in the development of support tools and test scenarios. Directs development and implementation of structured testing concepts and automated testing scripts. Assists in establishing quality standards and recommends quality improvements.
Works with the business line and development team to understand requirements and design to prepare test plans and cases.
Follows enterprise standard test processes according to established procedures.
Develops and maintains relationships with external customers as it pertains to vendor test plans, test scripts and schedules.
Leads by example; providing support and mentoring as needed to ensure sufficient skill, knowledge and effectiveness in the test process.
Frequently interfaces with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work.
Reviews, coordinates, and executes test plans for multiple projects and ensures that test cases and results meet requirements.
Looks for opportunities to improve all internal process leading up to successful software delivery.

Extensive experience in:
-System development life cycle
-IT standards, procedures, policy
- Exposure to Agile development methods, automated testing principles and methodologies is desired.
Subject matter expert in:
-System testing tools
-Software quality assurance
-IT quality assurance
- Hogan Deposits business and technical application knowledge is a must
- Ability to work independent with problem solving skills and think outside of the box
-Must be able to prioritize work and juggle multiple project assignments simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
- Capex and Large project analyst experience a must to display ability to work with several applications on the same effort and visualize the end to end data flow with these applications.
