As part of a centralized investigative team, the EEO Investigator researches, evaluates, collects and analyzes information pertaining to alleged violations of equal employment opportunity laws and other workplace misconduct.

The ideal candidate for the EEO Investigator position has significant employee relations experience, with a clear command of employment laws and substantial experience applying those laws to workplace issues, and conducting related investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

? Conduct face to face, telephone, and video based interviews to discover factual details, documentation and other information pertaining to allegations of misconduct. These will range from routine to moderate in complexity and include interviewing company personnel as a neutral fact finder, reviewing personnel documents, and analyzing other data.

? Exercise a variety of skills, including critical thinking, data analysis, research methods, investigative techniques and time management processes to ensure investigations are thorough, impartial, well-supported and timely.

? Prepare investigative plans, interview guides, and resolution reports.

? Remain alert to trends and partner with manager and stakeholders to develop appropriate action planning to address areas of concern.


Basic Qualifications:

? College degree. Other specialized training in labor/employee relations a significant plus

? Significant experience in handling or advising on employee relations issues

Preferred Skills:

?Knowledge of federal, state and local labor and employment laws and regulations

? Experience in conducting workplace investigations, and knowledge of related issues

? Experience with interpreting and providing guidance on HR policies

? Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

? Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and judgment while working collaboratively with a variety of teams

? Ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees

? Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite systems including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
